Viborg tickets not exactly rushing out the door... estimated gate?
Looks like we've sold well under 10K currently, bearing in mind the game is in 8 days and tickets went on sale long before we knew the opponents.
Somewhere between 20K and 30K max but probably the lower end unless they drop the price

Ah sp*rs. The "big" club. Stadium held 2k more than ours last season. Average attendance for them.was wk less than ours.

That's at least 4k empty seats on average

It’s absolutely laughable that the totts fans are laughing at the attendance . There was 5000 more at our game than they got at the same stage in the same competition last season. and they had no rail strike either.

Could well be. UEFA are self important dicks almost on the level of FIFA or the IOC who 'must not be criticised in any way or you will feel our wrath'.

Re: Viborg tickets not exactly rushing out the door... estimated gate?
Absolutely. That made me wonder if they're not allowed to say stuff like that in public though - obviously all guesswork, but I just can't see them not bothering to ask something that makes no difference to them other than more money.

Re: Viborg tickets not exactly rushing out the door... estimated gate?
OTB- that's what i would assume, but then I'm also sure if so they'd have shouted it from the rooftops over every medium as an 'easy win' positive PR piece just to let all of us know how much they are 'doing it for the fans' but dastardly UEFA and Viborg wouldn't play ball. They never usually miss an opportunity to blow that trumpet.

Re: Viborg tickets not exactly rushing out the door... estimated gate?
I'd be shocked if they hadn't asked about moving it - not through any care for us, but more tickets sold equals more money in the bank.

Re: Viborg tickets not exactly rushing out the door... estimated gate?
Don;t forget it's on tickets sold as well, rather than the actual number through the turnstiles. I'll wager a fair few of the quoted 30k didn't or couldn't make it.

30000 is a decent crowd for that match. Take into account the travel problems and the prices and it's excellent.

30k matches Sp*rs’ attendance for their Conference League play-off game last season.

Considering their game was the second leg, and they didn’t have to contend with rail strikes, it’s a good effort.

Any idea what thr attendance officially was? But hard to judge from the ground. Some bits looked fairly busy, some looked absolutely empty

On TFL most lines look a bit fucked including every one I'd need to use to get there. I think that's going to swing the decision for me.

C&P from TFL website:

Central Severe delays

Central Line: Severe delays while we fix a signal failure at Leytonstone.

Hope they get it sorted quickly

Bought my ticket for this (£40, not sure why I did to be honest), will head along and hope the tubes back home are easy enough. Low attendance should help with that…
